IPNE Has a New
Logo
IPNE's new logo is based on the design of the banner we use at trade
shows, and crafted into logo form by
Kitty Werner of RSB Press in Waitsfield, Vermont.

We strongly encourage members to add the logo to
your own Web sites. It's a great way to show the world that you are a
member of our professional trade group, dedicated to the highest levels
of achievement as a book publisher.
At left is a small version of
the logo, perfect for most Web sites. To place on your site, make a
copy of it. With most browsers, you can do that by right-clicking on the
logo and saving it on your computer, in whatever file you use for
photos and illustrations for your Web site.
Then, when you add
it to your site, include a link to IPNE's home page. You will want to do
it in a way that will open a separate window, so that people will not
be leaving your page. The coding will vary depending on your Web design.
But if you use the same name for the graphic that we use, and you place
it in a directory called "images" (which is typical), and you want it
to be in the center of the page, the coding would look like this:
<div align="center"><a href="http://www.ipne.org"
target="_blank"><img src="/images/IPNE%20Small-logo-blue-white.jpg"
border="0" alt="Independent Publishers of New
England"></a></div>
Again,
you or your Web administrator will want to make revisions based on your
Web technology, and the placement you prefer. If you have a specific
question about this, feel free to contact us. Your IPNE officers are not
expert Web designers, but we'll answer your questions if we reasonably
can.
