The IPNE PanelYOUR BOOK AS A BUSINESS
Saturday October 15, 2016 1:45pm - 2:45pm BPL Commonwealth Salon 700 Boylston St.
Whether you self-publish or go a more traditional route, the minute you decide to publish a book, you’re running a business. A-List authors like Stephen King can count on some hand-holding from their big publishers, but independent publishers are a different story. If you decide to “go indie,” either with a company or on your own, you’ll need to get up to speed on best business practices and the existing business models available to you. That’s where this session comes in. Independent publishers Charlotte Pierce, Deidre C. Randall, and Eddie Vincent will outline various routes to indie publishing success and answer your questions. Sponsored by Independent Publishers of New England and moderated by Karen Einstein, IPNE’s vice president.
* Schedule may change; your understanding is appreciated! Changes & updates will be posted here and on Twitter @IPNE, hashtag #IPNEatBBF
