IPNE is a vibrant non-profit trade association providing New England publishers
with opportunities for education, networking, and cooperative marketing
Notice: IPNE had announced here an event entitled "The Big Reveal," at Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont. Sadly, the event has been cancelled. We apologize for those of you who were looking forward to it, and hope that it will be revived in the future.
Our 2nd Annual New England Publishing Conference this past weekend brought together speakers and attendees from all over New England to learn the latest information and tips about Book Marketing, Publicity, Production, Distribution, Digital Publishing, Video Book Trailers & YouTube, Rights, Finances, Planning and to meet our Exhibitor Sponsors who provide services to our industry.
Julie Pierce in her evaluation wrote:
I must say I was absolutely amazed at the high quality of the speakers, topics, information, and organization of the event. Not knowing what to expect, I attended the conference with the goal of picking up a few pieces of relevant information;but soon found I learned something important every five minutes from either a speaker or another IPNE member's question/answer.
I especially liked the good mix of technology discussions with the traditional brick and mortar ones. I feel as though I got a very full-rounded view of what the whole industry is doing right now. This view from every angle I think is the key to success in the marketplace today, and would like to see this mix ongoing in IPNE endeavors.

Spring Program, 2012
Here is a first peek at our 2012 Spring Catalog cover. IPNE will be developing a new Online Catalog with Featured Book Listings, an IPNE Member Directory, ads from our members and vendors, and other information.
The IPNE Member Directory includes the name of the Publisher/Author/Vendor and contact information.
We're using a new method to acquire book data through a hosted webform and database. (More information on that in the coming months.)
We'll print it for our programs as needed.
